Cultural Policy Research Online (CPRO) is an on-line database of current research studies and experts' papers concerning the arts and culture in a political, social, educational, historical and/or management context, whereby the research touches upon cultural policy issues around the globe.

CPRO is a free service for researchers, policy-makers and arts managers who are interested in the study of arts in society and cultural policy.

CPRO has a search engine to facilitate searches by: researcher's name; research title; countries included in the study; date of completion; cultural sector(s); keywords and free text.

CPRO is constantly updated with new, on-going and recently completed (within the past five years) research.

CPRO aims to facilitate dialogue by presenting short descriptions of the project and the name and contact details of the researcher, as well as information on where the research has been, or will be, published.

CPRO incorporates research from around the globe, but focuses particularly on work conducted in Europe.

To facilitate searches all information has been catalogued according to keywords and cultural sectors belonging to the RECAP thesaurus on cultural policy.
