European Round Table Meeting, Spoleto (Italy), June 1996

Organised by CIRCLE, ISPE (Instituto di Studi per la Programmazione Economica), AEC (Associazione per l´Economia della Cultura) within the framework of the Italian Presidency of the EU.

The Spoleto Round Table in 1996 was the first opportunity for a public debate on the symbiotic relationship between culture and employment in Europe, and the trends in cultural employment. It involved a wide participation of experts, researchers, administrators and representatives of the European Parliament, European Commission, Council of Europe and UNESCO.
