Arts and Culture in Education: Policy and Practice in Europe

European Experts Meeting, Rotterdam, 26-29 September 2001

Organised by the Boekmanstichting, Cultuurnetwork Nederland, Erasmus University Rotterdam and with the support of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science, the Netherlands and the collaboration of the European Arts and Education Network and CIRCLE. This experts meeting took place within the framework of Rotterdam Cultural Capital 2001.

One of the main questions was "What place does cultural education have in the general view of cultural policy?" Many CIRCLE members were contacted to help collect European data on the subject, and expert members were asked to participate in the conference.
