Activities Archive

CIRCLE strives through its activities to increase dialogue and debate on the most current cultural policy issues in Europe. Therefore its activities normally revolve around forums for such debate.

The networks' main activity is the annual Round Table event, prior to which, an extensive mapping out of current research, scholarly debate and policies is conducted. The Round Tables aim to invite key experts on the issues being discussed. The findings of each Round Table meeting are presented in a full report, published by CIRCLE and disseminated to CIRCLE members and those in a position to change policies.

In addition to the Round Table, CIRCLE also co-organisers workshops, seminars and symposiums. These additional events may be organised either in collaboration or within the framework of member institute's own events.
